Growing Up Weird

A supernatural novel

What if the scary thing you imagine under the bed found a way to. . . communicate?

Based on true events, this series is about how the supernatural can get under your skin—and what you can do about it.

Growing Up Weird is Stranger Things meets The Craft, with a little Da Vinci Code in between.

Book One brings you back to the 1980s, as four usually super-smart BFF tweens are left alone with a OUIJA board. The friends' extraordinary sessions progress from irresistible fun to life-changing terror, as the novel unfolds and reveals the ramifications of screwing around with the Dark Side.

The story revolves around the fact that the girls in adulthood suddenly realize that ever since that supernatural time, all four of them have never been alone together in the same room. It interweaves the preparation for their reunion in adulthood with the events that took place in their childhood. It explores what left all four women more scarred and scared in their adult lives than they even realize. And what they need to do to get their lives back. This leads up to the incontrovertible proof that ultimately there were many more than four people in that room way back then, as completely as there are many more than four people when they finally all come together in present time.
